Remembrance 100

The First World War ended 100 years ago. We will be joining with national events in commemorating all those who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
Wednesday 7 November 8pm in Church
David McEvoy, Reader, gave a short talk on the story and development of the Remembrance Sunday services in the Church of England with time for questions and discussion and a short service of Compline (Night Prayer).
Sunday 11 November
Join us for our Remembrance Day Service at 10am with Act of Remembrance at 11am.
'There but not there'
This is a national installation for the Fallen. St Alfege Church is purchasing an aluminium statue of a Tommy from the British Legion, to remind of those who are not here but have provided us with the freedoms we enjoy.
