St John’s Passion                                                                   April 1

Performance of JS Bach’s St John’s Passion by the Thomas Tallis Society conducted by Eamonn Dougan.

Passion Sunday                                                                     April 2

Visiting Preacher at the 10am Eucharist, Canon Mark Oakley of St Paul’s, author of The Splash of Words.

Holy Week                                                                         April 9 - 15

Palm Sunday

10.00am          Eucharist with the Blessing of Palm Crosses and Dramatic Reading of the Passion according to St Matthew

Monday

5.30pm            Choral Evensong at the ORNC Chapel

Tuesday

1.00pm            Organ Recital in the Chapel

5.30pm           Evening Prayer in Church

Wednesday

5.30pm            Evening Prayer in Church.

7.00pm            Music for Lent and Passiontide in the Chapel by the Chapel Choir including music by Lobo, Allegri and Roderick Williams (free with retiring collection).

Holy Thursday

8.00pm            Eucharist with the washing of feet and stripping of the altar followed by silent vigil before the Blessed Sacrament until Midnight.

Good Friday

10.00am          Family Service in Church

11.00am          The Liturgy with Veneration of the Cross and Communion in the Chapel

12.15pm          Procession of the Cross from the Chapel to the Church

12.45pm to 3.00pm

                   Good Friday Meditations led by
Revd Andrew Williams, University Faith Adviser at Kingston University and assistant priest in the Kingston Team Ministry.

Easter Day Sunday                                                              April 16

8.00am       Holy Communion

10.00am     Sung Eucharist
with Renewal of Baptismal Vows
